The LAN monitoring package extends on the WAN management package by providing monitoring of network devices from the security of an internally located server.

Through the use of a securely located server D2 Networks  are able to extend on the quantity and quality of monitoring data along with monitoring of LAN based equipment.

LAN Monitoring Package includes the following:

  • Network Monitoring
    LAN Monitoring customers are provided with network monitoring 24/7 of internet available devices. Devices are regularly monitored using ICMP. Regular polling of monitored systems provides for fast identification of non-responsive systems. Additionally SNMP and WMI are used to collect in depth performance and fault information.
  • Notification
    Where a non-responsive system is identified by our monitoring systems, notifications are sent to authorised personnel by means of email, SMS, or phone as appropriate. Escalation processes are also available to ensure key staff are kept notified.

  • Ticketing
    All outages and customer contact are logged through our trouble ticketing system, providing a full audit trail of outages, notifications and customer contact. 
  • Performance Reporting
    D2Networks provides a range of reports detailing SLA metrics for monitored systems. These reports distill the management system information into formats appropriate for customer network maintenenance, management and planning.

  • Customer Portal
    We provide our customers with a secure web portal, with direct access to network information, reporting and ticketing.

  • Provisioning
    Once our provisioning team have placed your network under the supervision of D2Networks systems, you will be provided with notifications in accordance with your managed services provisioning information.
